A little girl sleeps~
Just down the hall~
Her older sister weeps~
A knife cuts deep~
As all people know~
Crimson is beautiful~
She feels so low~
Two days later~
A funeral is held~
Fake people cry~
No one understands~
What is wrong, dears?~
For whom now do you cry?~
Love, keep silent, still~
Wait until they leave~
Then we will dance.

So this is my first time trying to sit down and write a poem with a fixed number of syllables in each line. In the first stanza it was: 4, 5, 4, 6, 4, 5, 4, 6, 4. In the second, it was: 4, 6, 4, 5, 4, 6, 4, 5, 4. Just kinda backwards... Kinda like a dance step, huh? Well, anyway, enjoy. Feedback, please.
